Spring/summer 2025 EVENTS
COUNTRY MATTERS:
We’re looking forward to singing these wonderful new songs again for you very soon. This is a set that reflects our love and dependency on the land, the bitter ending of traditional ways, the excitement of sowing the next crop and the jubilation of a good harvest. A tender and hearty set with traditional songs through to Pete Seager, Ninebarrow and Geoff Lakeman.
We’ve received phenomenal feedback from audiences and sell out shows this tour, so for the first time ever we are running this show again next summer.
In fact we will be running two shows next year - a festival show of our all time favourite, up-tempo tunes and taking our ‘Country Matters’ concert further afield. Do get in touch if you’d like to host us!
Meanwhile we will be in the recording studio again in November and December recording some great new songs!
See you all soon!
MEANWHILE….. A singing workshop for Men
We are still on the hunt for BASSES so we are running a workshop to encourage lapsed singers to come back to the fold! If you used to sing as a boy and loved that amazing feeling of collective music making then maybe give this workshop a try. IT IS NOT AN AUDITON!!! It is a way for us to help singers get going again under Sandra’s expert coaching. It’s a way of waking up your voices and finding where your voice sits - Tenor/ Bari/ Bass and seeing if we can blow some of those cobwebs off!
Exercises to increase vocal flexibility, tone, refresh choir skills and much more!
COST: £12
If you’d like to have this as an Xmas Present - give the lovely person our email and we can do a voucher for them!
ALL ENQUIRIES: thelostsoundfolkchoir@gmail.com
(a special email for our workshops!)
